global entrepreneurship week 2021
Let the numbers talk
It has been a year since the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded and we now look ahead to the serious work of rebooting our communities and our economies for a better, more sustainable and equitable post-pandemic world. Our national boundaries are as porous to new ideas as they are to a coronavirus, making it imperative for us all to seize the opportunity to: reboot and help those most severely impacted by the economic downturn, rethink together as one global ecosystem and to regenerate lost jobs while helping all economies to rise on an incoming tide of entrepreneurial potential.
Global Entrepreneurship Week empowers nascent entrepreneurs and those who face systemic barriers to starting and scaling their own company. Through GEW, we focus on four distinct theme areas (Education, Ecosystems, Inclusion and Policy) to spotlight impactful voices and organizations — as well as inspiring activities — that are helping empower entrepreneurs everywhere.
This November Connect Southern Africa will host the Global Entrepreneurship Week Dates are as follows:
O8 November to 13 November 2021.

This November 8-13, Connect Southern Africa will be hosting the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). We will share information on many event activities around the world to empower entrepreneurs and encourage citizens to become starters – finding new and better ways of doing things. In the wake of the pandemic and its impact, GEW 2021 is also a call to action for societies to be resilient and come together in leveraging the power of new ideas and innovation for the benefit of all.
Thousands of GEW organizers around the world are already hard at work planning online and in-person events. Are you interested in helping organize this year’s event? Would you like to be a panelist on one of our break away sessions? WhatsApp us now on +27 62 791 0079.
